"Cloud wine and wooden bread” or, fresh spring water and chestnut polenta: this was the staple diet of the farmers who lived in Vezzano in the last century. Because of this, the seccatoio (the drying house), where chestnuts were dried before being sent to the mill, was as essential as one's own home. Today, the seccatoio of the Resi family, historical residents of the village, has been transformed into an intimate apartment for two.
